What is a BanList?

A Global BanList is a list of banned AntiCheat players. The players are banned the specific player based ACID.

ServerWatch provide this to build community based list as the users want to. A Community can share there bans with others or not – that is a community decision nothing ServerWatch dictate.

If communities decide that they want to share there list of banned people they simply have to adjust the script to grep on both databases who is banned - or write a BanList Framework for themselves.The output ServerWatch expect from the BanList is so simple it should be no problem at all to replace the current PHP solution with whatever you like best.

How users can make sure there using a ok BanList and the admins are trustee?

That is not a problem ServerWatch can solve - this is a Problem the users have to solve. Find a list you trust in and use it if you like.

Remember: on every list the admins can do whatever they want. Ban people for a better ping then they actually has or because the sky is blue.
He should take the decision seriously, based on the automatic uploaded (from ServerWatch) Cheat detections but they dont have to.

How does that PHP version of the BanList work?

here are some sample php scripts for the Web Server part of the Global BanList for ServerWatch AntiCheat Server.

You need to install that to a Website what support PHP and have access to a MYSQL DB.

Every ServerWatch Server need to point to the right uploadban.php url - where you install the scripts to.
The same you need to do for the bans.php in the AntiCheat Global Banlist setup to synchronize the servers with the global list.

Please see that scripts as some basic framework for you to have something to start with to make it as complex and cool as you want to.

You can fine the steps needed to install it to a web server in the install.txt.
